"LIFE IN PRIME TIME" is anchored by Tom Dunn a familiar face in television news for millions of Americans. A veteran of 35 years of broadcasting ,Tom anchored and reported the news for 15 years at superstation WWOR-TV. Prior to his stint at WWOR-TV he anchored and reported at WABC-TV for several years. Previously, he spent five years at WCBS-TV , New York , as reporter and anchor.
Tom Dunn is the recipient of numerous broadcast awards, including the prestigious Edward R. Murrow award for Outstanding Public Service. His CBS documentary, "Forgotten River" earned him an Emmy and paved the way for New York State pollution control as well as the cleanup of the Hudson River . Tom also won the "Best TV Reporting Award" from the New York Newspaper Reporters Association for his writing and reporting at WCBS-TV and WABC-TV.
Tom now resides in Florida where he anchors the weekend newscasts for WPTV, the NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach . In his leisure time, he flies, sails, is an accomplished gourmet chef and volunteers his time for numerous charities.
