SUSAN CINGARIREPORTER/PRODUCER
After CNN, Susan went to work at WTWS-TV in Connecticut serving as the Creative Services Director where she wrote and produced hundreds of commercials. Later, she traveled to Colorado Springs., Colorado to work as a producer at the ABC affiliate, KRDO-TV. During her tenure at KRDO-TV, the newscast she produced rose from third to first place in the ratings and received numerous awards, including the AP's "General Excellence Award" for best newscast in the state. Susan then moved to south Florida to become a news producer at WPBF-TV in West Palm Beach, Florida. At WPBF-TV, the fastest growing ABC affiliate in the nation, she produced a daily newscast and special projects. In 1989, Susan started her first company, Starquest Prime Time Productions, Inc. SPTP produced, marketed and syndicated the “LIFE IN PRIME TIME" news reports geared towards older Americans. "LIFE IN PRIME TIME" provided news you could use to the nation's 62 million Americans over the age of 50. The twice a week news report began airing in September 1994 on newscasts around the country, and was the recipient of two prestigious awards, a bronze and silver award from the National Mature Media Organization for the series "WHEN LUCK RUNS OUT", which examined the growing problem of gambling in the senior population. |
